About this policy
This policy covers the Civilizations & Wonders app and this website, operated by the app developer. For privacy questions, contact avpsky@qq.com. Apple and other service providers process information under their own policies when they provide services used by the app or website.
Information on your device
The app stores language preferences, favorites, downloaded panoramas and their file records locally. It also stores local usage dates, visit counts, visited viewpoint identifiers, and rating-prompt history to decide when to show an App Store review invitation. This review history is used on the device; the app does not upload it to an analytics service.
Content delivery and network requests
Loading panoramas, narration, and music requires requests to content servers or delivery providers. A network request necessarily exposes technical information such as your IP address, the requested resource, and request time to the server. Providers may keep operational or security logs. Downloaded image files remain on your current device unless you remove them.
Apple services and purchases
Maps are provided using Apple’s mapping services. The app shows destination coordinates and does not request your current location. In-app purchases and restoration use Apple StoreKit. The app receives transaction and entitlement information to determine access; it does not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s processing is described in its App Store and Maps privacy notices, linked below.
Motion and spatial interaction
Where supported and enabled, device motion and system-provided spatial interactions help you look around and interact with scenes. These interactions are processed for the viewing experience. The app does not upload motion data to an analytics service or use it for advertising.
When you contact support
If you contact us by email, WeChat, or phone, we receive the contact information and content you choose to share. We use it to answer your request and troubleshoot the issue. Contact records are retained as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations. You can contact us to request deletion of information you provided, subject to those obligations.
This website
This website does not include advertising or third-party analytics scripts. It stores your chosen language in browser local storage, where available, to remember your preference. You can clear it through your browser’s site data settings. Website hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser details, request times, and server logs to deliver and protect the site. External links, including the App Store, follow the destination service’s privacy practices.
Your choices
You can remove downloaded panoramas in the app’s Download Management, change language preferences in Settings, and remove favorites. Deleting the app normally removes its local data, subject to the device’s backup and restore behavior. You can clear website language preferences in your browser. Contact us about information you voluntarily sent to support; we do not control Apple’s records or third-party service logs.
Children and policy changes
The app does not require a profile or ask for a date of birth. Please avoid sending children’s personal information to support; a parent or guardian can contact us about any information shared by a child. If the app or website changes how information is handled, we will update this policy and its date.
